In May 2008, the album Karma was launched which features the poems of Lelung Rinpoche set to music.
The album Karma is a collaboration between Lelung Rinpoche and Richard Hillman Bell. The two friends met during Rinpoche's English language studies at the Bell School in London. Rinpoche has written many poems in Tibetan, which when tranlated into English, became song lyrics for music composed by Bell.
Inspired by ancient Buddhist wisdom and its themes of universal love and compassion, the songs are an attempt to integrate ancient philosophy into a contemporary medium. Bell describes their musical fusion as "bossanova meets Tibetan Buddhism meets John Lennon." For more on the album including audio clips, visit the official website for Karma.
